Kate Bradshaw-Tauvon


Kate from the UK, settled in Stockholm in 1989 with her husband Lars. She works privately with individuals, couples and groups – psychotherapeutic and organisational. She is a Teacher and Supervisor in Psychotherapy and Psychiatric Treatment, integrating theories and methodologies concerning the understanding of thoughts, feelings, body senses and behaviours. She is an EMDR therapist working extensively with trauma also through dialogue, psychodrama and group analysis.

After working many years in psychiatry and private practice, Kate supports people in coming to expression as incorporated members of a multicultural world. She has been a Member of the Board of Directors of the International Association for Group Psychotherapy and Group Processes (IAGP) for many years and IAGP Secretary 2006-2009 and 2012-2015. She is co-founder of the British Psychodrama Association and the Stockholm Institute for Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy. She's Co-Editor and Co-Author of "The Handbook of Psychodrama" 1998 (Routledge). She has worked internationally in Asia, Europe, North and South America and Australia/New Zealand.
